The D.E. Cressman Story
D.E. Cressman Insurance was launched to help people in our community. Here are some key company milestones:
Ethelda Cressman, Dan’s grandmother started working at Erie Insurance as the secretary for the Allentown Branch.
Don Cressman started DE Cressman out of his home selling for Erie Insurance.
Don had a massive heart attack and his son Dan, a fresh college graduate, stepped in to run the family business. With the help of fellow local Erie agent Ed Coringrato, he was able to learn the industry.
Don passes away at the age of 53.
Dan “the Man” Cressman opens the first D.E. Cressman office, building on the plot of land, which is now their Walbert Avenue office.
The D.E. Cressman “Bugged About Insurance” campaign launches with Volkswagen Beetles.
Allison Cressman stars in her first D.E. Cressman commercial with her sisters, Amanda and Ashley.
Dan wins Quality Agent of the Year from Erie Insurance.
Allison becomes licensed in P&C and Life insurance and starts working at D.E. Cressman, joining the family business at age 19.
Dan’s grandkids star in the new D.E. Cressman TV commercials
Allison and her husband Rob purchase D.E. Cressman from Dan; Allison becomes president, Rob becomes agent and finance manager, Dan continues to serve agency customers and as a mentor to Allison and Rob
Purchased “Little Blue Susie Q”, the 1969 Volkswagen pickup. Lehigh Valley Business honors D.E. Cressman with “Lehigh Valley in the Lead: Family-Owned Business” recognition and Dan with Icon Honors award.
Coringrato Insurance Agency joins D.E. Cressman.

Allison Cressman Durnin

This Parkland grad loves getting to know her clients and helping them understand coverage opportunities. In her spare time, this early bird loves working out, playing with her kids, and family beach vacations.
Rob Durnin
rob@choosecressman.comWith a finance background, Rob loves numbers and making them make sense, always aligning coverage needs with budgets. No matter how busy things get, he always makes time to listen and check in with customers, ensuring they can always count on Cressman to help. A lifelong Allentown resident and dad of two, he enjoys golfing outside the office.

Of course, he stays connected with customers and loves taking calls and interacting during office drop-ins. A doting grandfather, dad and husband, he is all about family and spending time with the people he loves.

With over 30 years of experience, she is extremely well-versed in personal lines and life insurance, with a superpower of calming customers and working through challenges with compassion and respect. Life can be stressful, and Chelsea brings empathy and solutions to every customer interaction. Another lifelong Valley native, she is a proud graduate of Parkland and Kutztown University.
